- Log in using your valid Emirates ID, passport, or UAE Pass.
- Verify the eye test validity.
- Select Amending Driving Licence Data from Drivers Licensing Services list.
- Specify and confirm the changes (personal photo, name, nationality, date, with or without glasses).
- In case of changing your personal photo, receive the approval through SMS and email within 2 working days.
- Select the delivery method (electronic licence through the RTA Dubai App wallet, Self Service Machines, or delivery service).
- Pay the fees and fines.
- Receive the licence as a Digital Driving Licence. You can receive a physical copy through:
- Self Service Machines
- Delivery service, with the fees as follows:
- Standard delivery: AED 20
- Same day delivery: AED 35
- Delivery within 2 hours: AED 50
- International delivery: AED 50.
- Receive the licence through the RTA Dubai App (My Docs) , and add it to your Apple or Samsung Wallet, if any.

- A: You can attach a photo when submitting the request, provided that it's approved by the relevant team after verification of the identity of the photo owner.
- Q : Can Marsoom holders and diplomats apply for the service via electronic channels?
- A: Yes.
- Q : What's the procedure if I become a Person of Determination after obtaining the Driving Licence? Can I continue to use the same licence?
- A: You must visit the Customer Happiness Centre and present the People of Determination card to activate the People of Determination feature in the traffic system.
- Q : If I have the glasses sign on my Dubai Driving Licence, but I start using contact lenses instead of glasses, should I add the contact lenses sign to the Driving Licence?
- A: According to the procedures, there's no difference between glasses and contact lenses, and you can use them both while driving.
- Q: Does the validity of the Driving Licence change if its data is amended?
- A: No, the validity of the Driving Licence doesn't change. Only the amended data displayed on the Driving Licence changes.
