You Should Know
- Additional fares apply when passing through Salik gates.
- An extra charge of AED 20 applies when passing through Sharjah.
- The waiting fare is 50 fils per minute for all types of vehicles.
- Taxi fares are subject to change during peak hours, at events locations, and at New Year's Eve events locations.
- 1 kilometre is charged at AED 3.67.
- Rush hours are as follows:
- Monday to Thursday: 8am - 10am and 4pm - 8pm.
- Friday: 8am - 10am and 4pm - 12am.
- Saturday and Sunday: 4pm - 12am.
- You can't travel using a Dubai taxi from another emirate to Dubai.
