102nd open plates auction fetches AED25 million
Proceeds of the 102nd open distinctive number plates public auction held by Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) at InterContinental Dubai-Festival City Hotel on Saturday 28th September, 2019 amounted to AED 25,138,000 (Twenty Five Million, One Hundred & Thirty Eight Thousand Dirhams).
(T 50) topped the auction and was sold for AED2.44 million followed by (L 21), bearing Expo logo, which brought back AED2.34 million.
About 100 eye-catching licensing plates of two, three, four and five digits were offered in this auction. Plates on offer were of diverse codes namely (H-I-K-L-M-N-O-P-Q-R-S-T-U-V-W-X-Z). 20 of them were released for the first time bearing Expo logo.
