RTA honours excellent-performing taxi franchise companies
The lineup of companies felicitated included the National Taxi, Hala Taxi Team at Cars Taxi, and Hala Taxi Team at Dubai Taxi Corporation for the low rate of complaints. It also honoured Metro Taxi, National Taxi, Dubai Taxi, Arabia Taxi, Cars Taxi and City Taxi for their relentless efforts in completing the fitting of the new Dubai Brand to taxicabs ahead of schedule; providing an immense support to RTA’s efforts in showcasing the brand.
Abdullah Al Mahri, Director of Franchise & Monitoring, Public Transport Agency, RTA, commended the efforts of managers of taxi franchise companies in Dubai towards meeting the aspirations of the RTA for high-quality taxi services to taxi users. He reiterated RTA’s keenness on the sustained drive in these companies to upgrade the taxi transport service in Dubai, including the introduction of smart systems and edge-cutting technologies to meet the needs of various customers. He recalled the Dubai Government’s drive to transform the Emirate into the smartest city in the world capable of achieving happiness to residents, visitors and tourists descending on the city from all over the world.
“Dubai city has now become an iconic landmark in the world’s tourist and economic map, thanks to its security stability, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and top-notch services. Such a profile is propelled by the government drive to deliver best-in-class services and bring happiness to all spectrums of the community, rendering it imperative for us to continue with the improvement of the taxi service as it is a vital means in the daily mobility of people,” said Al Mahri.
