Smart Control Center to monitor quality of services at technical testing centers and driving institutes

In short, the idea of this project revolves around setting up an online smart control center at RTA’s headquarters to track the business process at vehicles technical testing centers, driving institutes and tourist transport. The step comes as part of RTA’s strategic plan aimed at adopting the best technological practices to upgrade services.

The Smart Online Control Center performs several vital functions such as coping with visitors thronging some technical testing centers. Moreover, vehicles of mobile testing service (testing the vehicle at the place of the customer) are fitted with cameras linked with the control center to verify the compliance with the testing regime via the tracking system (GPS). All testing centers have been fitted with cameras linked to the control center in order to monitor any violations on the part of testers if they fail to follow the required testing criteria. Smart surveillance cameras (ALPR) have been installed to monitor vehicle testing entry time, where the receptionist can retrieve the vehicles’ data electronically, thus minimizing the error margin when registering the vehicle’s details besides saving time and effort.
 

Regarding vehicles driving institutes, learners will have to use an electronic fingerprint to verify their attendance and commitment to attend the unified training module & knowledge tests, in addition to monitoring the lecture halls via the control center to ensure that trainees regularly attend the theoretical training sessions.
