Honoring the "Golden Driver"
The Traffic Department participated in the "Golden Driver" campaign organized by "Ciel" and sponsored by "Shell" as part of an initiative to encourage drivers to drive safely. Where the campaign team presented in some streets of Dubai and selected some drivers who are committed to traffic rules in addition to the absence of any records of traffic violations for them. They were given an amount of money plus some souvenirs. This comes as part of RTA's strategy to achieve traffic safety in accordance with long-term plans and goals aims at instilling the correct culture of traffic rules.

Virtual Training Launches at Emirates Transport Institute
The Emirates Driving Institute has organized with the Traffic Department a virtual training program that trains high school students for driving through virtual machines simulated reality.
