Awareness campaign for truck drivers
Last November 2020, an awareness campaign targeting truck drivers has been launched in cooperation with Dubai Police. The campaign aimed to enhance drivers’ awareness of the most serious violations that could lead to traffic accidents, in addition to the dangers of stopping on the hard shoulder of the road, and the importance of adhering to parking in designated places or rest stops.
The campaign targeted truck assembly points; such as the vegetable and fruit market in Dubai, and rest stops.
