- Type "Renew Plate Number Reservation" .
- Enter the vehicle plate number.
- Confirm the vehicle details.
- Enter the following information:
- Traffic File number
- Trade Licence number
- Birth year.
- Enter the plate number reservation period (3 months, 6 months, or 1 year).
- Pay the fees.
- Receive the certificate through SMS and email.
If you have an RTA account
- Type "Renew Plate Number Reservation" .
- Enter your username.
- Confirm the vehicle details.
- RTA checks the reserved plates under your name.
- Enter the following information:
- Traffic File number
- Trade Licence number
- Birth year.
- Enter the plate number reservation period (3 months, 6 months, or 1 year).
- Pay the fees.
- Receive the certificate through SMS and email.

You Should Know
- Re-registration terms apply if the vehicle ownership is expired.
- You can renew the reservation of the plate at any time, even before it expires:
- If the reservation is renewed after it expires, the new validity period begins on the renewal date.
- If the reservation is renewed before it expires, the new validity period begins on the current expiry date.
