Apply for a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to modify a Trade Licence by adding or removing a shareholder, manager, or activity, changing the Trade Licence name, cancelling, suspending, or resuming the licence, or changing the work site.

Steps

  1. Select NOC to Modify a Trade Licence through the website and log in.
  2. Agree to the terms and conditions and fill in the required licence information.
  3. Select the type of procedure then make the required modifications (add or remove a shareholder or partner).
  4. Confirm the contact details and pay the fees.
  5. The NOC is issued after obtaining all the approvals (according to the activity).
  6. Download the NOC through the RTA website.

    Steps

    1. Sign in to the Invest in Dubai (IID) portal to access your dashboard.
    2. Go to the required licence card page and select View company details under "Registered Businesses" to access the Licence Dashboard.
    3. In the Licence Dashboard, scroll down to the Applications section and select Approved Applications .
    4. Next to the Commercial Transport Activity Permit application, click Manage Application , then Amend Service to open the permit amendment form.
    5. On the application form, make the required amendments, select Submit Application , then Proceed to submit to confirm.
    6. Once the status is "Pending Payment", select Pending Actions and click Pay Now .
    7. Select your preferred payment method and click Proceed to Pay .
    8. Once the payment is confirmed, the permit status is updated to "Active".

    You Should Do

    1. Pay all your fines and resolve all your financial constraints.
    2. Pay all your Trade Licence fines at the Supervision and Inspection Department.

    Service Requirements

    1. Copy of the passports of the partners
    2. Residence Visa or valid Visit Visa
    3. NOC by the sponsor in case the partner is a non-GCC citizen
    4. Preliminary approval from the licensing authorities (Department of Economy and Tourism or Free Zones)
    5. Copy of the Trade Licence
    6. Copy of the company Trade Licence in case of adding it as a partner

    Fees

    • Remove a shareholder or manager for all activities: from AED 100 to AED 2,000
    • Add a shareholder for all activities: from AED 500 to AED 2,000
    • Waiver of the shareholder for all activities: from AED 1,000 to AED 250,000
    • Notary public fee: AED 100
    • Knowledge and Innovation: AED 20
