- Select the certificate type.
- Fill in the information (chassis number, plate number, vehicle selected, etc).
- Pay the fees.
- Receive the Vehicle Non-Ownership Certificate through SMS and email.

You Should Know
- Required contracts according to the legal type:
- Sole Proprietorship: no Memorandum of Association required
- Service agent: no Service Agent Contract required
- Limited Liability Company: Memorandum of Association
- Single-Owner L.L.C.: Memorandum of Association
- Civil Company: Memorandum of Association of civil company
- General Partnership: Memorandum of Association of a joint venture
- Public Joint-Stock Company: Memorandum of Association
- Private Joint-Stock Company: Memorandum of Association.
- If the company is the Dubai branch of a parent company in another emirate, the customer must provide the Memorandum of Association of the parent company.
- If the plates of the registered vehicle are consulate plates, you must provide an NOC from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and contact the Customer Happiness Centre - Deira.
- Transactions for Free Zones in Jebel Ali are only processed in the Jebel Ali Centre.
- If you don't have a Traffic File, you can apply at Customer Happiness Centres and pay AED 120. A Traffic File will be opened during the transaction, but the opening fees (AED 200) will be collected when conducting another transaction such as vehicle registration, licence transfer, etc.
- If you have a Traffic File, you can apply through the RTA website and self service machines.
- Jafza companies without a Traffic File or CTA activity must apply through Jebel Ali Tasjeel .

- Q: Where can I apply for a special/customised certificate?
- A: For special/customised certificates, you must go to Customer Happiness Centres in Deira or Umm Ramool . You can apply for this certificate, which is subject to specific provisions, to drive your vehicle outside the UAE. As the certificate isn't part of the available services on the RTA website, the centre employee writes it manually and specifies your needs.
