Apply for Multi- Storey Parking Permits

This service enables you to obtain a card to subscribe for multi-storey parkings provided by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).

Governmental bodies, companies and individuals who live near the multi-storey parkings are eligible to apply for this service.
Required documents

For companies

  1. Valid trade licence
  2. Copy of the ownership of the house or the tenancy agreement approved by Ejari
  3. Copy of the Emirates ID
  4. Copy of ownership of the vehicle.

For individuals

  1. Copy of the tenancy agreement approved by Ejari
  2. Copy of ownership of the vehicle
  3. Copy of the Emirates ID.

For governmental entities

  1. Official letter.
Service fees

To issue the permit

  • 700 AED subscription card for 30 days.
  • 2,000 AED subscription card for 3 months
  • 4,000 AED subscription card for 6 months
  • 8,000 AED subscription card for 1 year
  • +20 AED Knowledge and Innovation fees

Note: 5% VAT is added to the services fees for this type of permit.

Parking fees

  • 5 AED for each hour starting the time of the ticket issuance
  • In case of losing the ticket: 150 AED fine + parking fees.

To issue the permit

Through website

  • The customer logs in to RTA website.
  • The customer selects "Apply for Multi- Storey Parking Permits" service.
  • The customer fills the required details and chooses the requested building.
  • The customer submits the required documents.
  • The customer receives the response (approval/rejection) through SMS.
  • In case of approval, the customer receives the printed permit from Customer Happiness Centre - Umm Ramool

Through customer happiness centres

  • The customer presents the required documents at the service centre.
  • The customer is required to settle the fees in cash or through credit card.
  • The customer receives the permit.

To pay the fees

Pay on foot machines

  • The customer takes the ticket from the machine upon entering the parking.
  • The customer is required to settle the fees through the machine while leaving the parking.

Through windows

  • The customer takes the ticket from the window upon entering the parking.
  • The customer is required to settle the fees through the window while leaving the parking.

For information about the locations of the multi-storey parking buildings

Through call centre

  • The customer contacts the call centre on the following number: 8009090.
  • The customer receives the needed information from the call centre employee.

Note: Pay on foot machines are located in RTA’s multi-storey parking buildings to help saving time at exit gates when settling the fees through the windows.

Terms and conditions
  • The service fees must be settled in UAE currency (AED).
  • The management of the multi-storey parking is not responsible for any traffic jam outside the parking during the peak hours which might affect the fees.
  • The maximum duration for using Multi-Storey car parking is 30 consecutive days.
  • The customer must abide by the traffic laws and must not hinder the traffic flow.
  • The card must be issued in the name of the party or the company or the individual requesting the permit.
  • The card is issued according to the authorised numbers for each building of the multi-storey parking, the priority of the requests, the location of the requester with respect to the building and the evaluation of the concerned department.
  • The customer cannot use the card for reserved parkings or parkings allocated for other parties.
