- Go to Pay Fines Related to Public Transport page.
- Search for the fine through its number, your Emirates ID number, or Passport number, then click Next.
- Select the fine you want to pay, enter your phone number and email address, then click Next .
- Click Pay Now after agreeing to the terms and conditions.
- Enter the payment details, then click Pay.
- The payment confirmation page appears on the screen and you can download the payment receipt from the website or receive it by email.

Important to Know
You Should Know
- You can pay fines related to metro and tram passengers on the spot to the inspector and receive a payment receipt.
- You can enquire about the fine or ask the counter employee for assistance at Al Qusais and Al Rashidiya bus stations only.
- You must appeal the fine within 30 days after receiving it. You'll receive a response within 14 working days.
- You can dispute fines you think you wrongfully received free of charge, through email to ask@rta.ae, after providing the following documents:
- Fine number
- Letter with the bank account number (if the fine is paid)
- Payment receipt (if the fine is paid through the inspector or service centres)
- Copy of the fine notice form
- Copy of the nol card or the card number printed on the backside of the nol card
- Copy of the Visit visa + entry stamp + Passport copy (for visitors)
- Any other document that can support the appeal application.
- To submit a dispute application, follow the steps below:
- Send an email to ask@rta.ae with the subject title "Fine Appeal".
- Include the fine notice number in the email.
- Attach the documents.
- Receive the case number and expected response date from RTA through SMS within 14 working days.
- If your application is approved, the fine is cancelled in the system and you receive the refund amount in your bank account within 5 days.
- The Grievance Committee has the right to reconsider or extend the dispute review period for more than 30 days, if there's new evidence that wasn't previously submitted, according to the Committee policy.
