RTA is set to organise the inaugural Dubai International Electric Vehicle Exhibition and Conference 2026, scheduled to take place from 10th to 12th November 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, under the theme “Driving a Smart and Sustainable Mobility Future.”

Honouring 80 Driving Instructors and 4 Driver Training Centres
RTA honoured 80 driving instructors for their outstanding performance in delivering their duties, along with four driver training centres that achieved the highest results in the approved targets for driver training services and recorded the highest pass rates in knowledge, smart yard, and road tests.

Contract Awarded for Phase Two of the Development of Hessa Street Through the Construction of Several Bridges and a Tunnel
In implementation of the directives of the wise leadership to further advance Dubai’s road infrastructure network to keep pace with the sustained urban development and population growth of Dubai, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has awarded a contract for Phase II of Hessa Street Development.

Al Rowaiyah Street
The project provides direct entry and exit points to both arterial roads, serving Nadd Hessa residential area, Dubai International Academic City, Dubai Silicon Oasis and Warsan 4.

Bridge at the Al Qudra Road Intersection Linking Arabian Ranches and Dubai Studios City
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) opened a 600-metre bridge comprising four lanes at the intersection of Al Qudra Road and the link road connecting Arabian Ranches with Dubai Studio City, as part of the main intersections development project along Al Qudra Road. The corridor extends from its intersection with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, passing through Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Street and Emirates Road, and continuing along Al Qudra Road.

Launching the Official Operations of Driverless Taxi Service
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum launched the official operations of fully autonomous RT6 taxi vehicles developed by Baidu Apollo Go, as part of Dubai’s smart mobility ecosystem.

The Dubai International Project Management Forum (DIPMF) organised technical field visits for 240 participants to several Dubai landmarks and mega projects such as Al Infinity Bridge, Deep Dive Dubai, Museum of the Future, Enterprise Command and Control Centre (EC3), Mohammed Bin Rashid Library, and the Geographic Information Systems Centre in Dubai Municipality.
