Contract awarded for Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan Street and Al Awir–Al Manama Roads interchange
In line with the directives of the wise leadership to enhance the infrastructure of the road network and public transport systems, RTA has awarded the Contract for Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Street Intersection Development with Al Awir Road and Al Manama Street.

A Bridge Connecting Sheikh Zayed Road to Mall of the Emirates
RTA in collaboration with Majid Al Futtaim Properties, has inaugurated a 300-metre single-lane bridge on Sheikh Zayed Road, designed to accommodate up to 900 vehicles per hour.

A 700-Metre Expansion on Sheikh Zayed Road
The upgrade expanded the lanes from six to seven, increasing capacity by 16% to accommodate up to 14,000 vehicles per hour.
