121st Open Auction of Distinguished Vehicle Number Plates Generates AED 65.7 Million
The 121st open auction of distinguished vehicle number plates, organised by Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) Saturday 24th October 2026, generated total proceeds of AED 65.721 million.
Number plate CC44 achieved the highest selling price at AED 6.72 million, followed by BB18, which sold for AED 6.62 million. Number plate BB80 fetched AED 5.9 million, while BB117 sold for AED 1.016 million.
The auction results reaffirm the success of RTA’s strategy for its open and online auctions, which is based on neutrality, transparency and equal opportunities for all participants seeking to acquire distinguished number plates. These plates hold symbolic value for their owners and reflect their individual preferences.
The 121st open auction, held at Hilton Dubai Al Habtoor City, featured 60 distinguished vehicle number plates including two-, three-, four- and five-digit combinations across the following codes: AA, BB, CC, H, U, V, W, X, Y and Z.
