Project Description

  • Adding a new lane on Ras Al Khor Road towards Al Khail Road, extending from the Financial Centre Street intersection to Al Khail Road southbound. This widened the road from three to four lanes, increasing capacity by 33%.
  • Traffic improvements at the exit from Financial Centre Street towards Meydan, as well as at the entrance to Ras Al Khor Road towards Financial Centre Street.
  • Adding a new 1-kilometre lane on Al Khail Road towards Abu Dhabi, increasing the number of lanes from three to four.

  • Boosts road efficiency by 20%.
  • Reduces journey time on Ras Al Khor Road towards Al Khail Road from 15 minutes to 12 minutes.
  • Enhances the quality of life of Dubai’s residents and visitors.
