Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has launched an extensive inspection campaign to identify improper practices truck drivers, particularly random parking on main roads across the emirate.

This year’s edition witnessed the participation of 26 hospitals across Dubai, through which 500 child car seats had been distributed to newborns in celebration of the UAE’s 54th Eid Al Etihad, from 1st to 5th December, 2025.

RTA and Dubai Police General Headquarters announced record positive results following the implementation of the expanded truck-movement restriction on Emirates Road. RTA stated that the decision to limit truck movement on Emirates Road specifically the section between Al Awir Road and the Emirate of Sharjah towards its direction.

As part of its commitment to enhancing health and safety and regulating the operation of recreational off-road motorcycle rental activities, RTA has carried out a comprehensive field awareness campaign across winter camps.

RTA has completed 13 cycling tracks as part of a master plan encompassing 15 tracks across various areas of the emirate, with a total length of 162 km. The project provides an integrated cycling network linking existing tracks from Al Khawaneej to Al Mamzar Beach, from Al Warqa’a to Saih Al Salam, and from Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) to Jumeirah.

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has launched a specialised lab dedicated to innovating solutions for People of Determination. The lab aims to enhance the user experience and engage People of Determination in the development of integrated and innovative services.

RTA honoured 80 driving instructors for their outstanding performance in delivering their duties, along with four driver training centres that achieved the highest results in the approved targets for driver training services and recorded the highest pass rates in knowledge, smart yard, and road tests.

The Digital School, has announced the launch of the Project Management Academy, in collaboration with the Roads and Transport Authority, as part of the Dubai International Project Management Forum, which is being held this year under the theme Bridging Communities.
