- Click Certificate Group and select Vehicle Certificates .
- Select the certificate type.
- Fill in the information (chassis number, plate number, vehicle selected, etc).
- Pay the fees.
- Receive the Insurance Refund Certificate through SMS and email.

You Should Know
- If you want to transfer the vehicle ownership to another person in Dubai, you can apply for a Refund Certificate online.
- If you don't have a Traffic File, you must open a new one (new file fees: AED 200).

- Q: Where can I apply for a special/customised certificate?
- A: For special/customised certificates, you must go to Customer Happiness Centres in Deira or Umm Ramool . You can apply for this certificate, which is subject to specific provisions, to drive your vehicle outside the UAE. As the certificate isn't part of the available services on the RTA website, the centre employee writes it manually and specifies your needs.
