You Should Know
- If you're a citizen travelling in your vehicle to any of the GCC countries, you don't need an NOC from the Automobile and Touring Club of the UAE nor a Tourism Certificate from RTA. However, if you're a resident, you need both.
- If a person other than the owner is driving the vehicle, he must provide his Driving Licence. The vehicle driver and owner must be present in person.
- If you're transporting the vehicle through a cargo company, provide a copy of the cargo company Trade Licence.
- If you don't have a Traffic File, you must open a new one (new file fees: AED 200).
- On Sundays, Al Yalayis Vehicle Testing and Muhaisna Shamil centres only provide inspection services.
