- Log in using your username and password, or UAE Pass.
- Select the plate number.
- Select Transfer Plate Number Ownership from Plates Services .
- The seller's ID is confirmed through the UAE Pass and the registered phone number.
- The seller enters the buyer's details, agrees to the terms and conditions, and submits the application.
- The buyer receives an email and an SMS to sign the selling agreement.
- The buyer and seller sign the plate transfer agreement.
- The buyer pays the fees.
- The buyer receives the Plate Number Ownership Certificate and payment receipt through email and SMS, or downloads them from the website.

- The seller logs in.
- The seller clicks Driving then Plate Number Transfer .
- The seller selects the plate and enters the buyer's details.
- The buyer's ID is confirmed through the UAE Pass and the registered phone number.
- The buyer and the seller receive a notification to sign the Sale and Purchase Agreement using UAE Pass.
- The buyer receives a notification from the seller to proceed and pays the fees.
- The buyer receives the Plate Number Ownership Certificate through email and SMS and can download the receipt.

You Should Know
- The number must be in your Traffic File.
- The seller and the buyer must be present in person when you apply at Customer Happiness or Inspection Centres.
- If you want to transfer an owned number used on a vehicle, you must cancel the use of the number on the vehicle and then complete the transfer upon sale.
- On Sundays, Al Yalayis Vehicle Testing and Muhaisna Shamil centres only provide inspection services.
