You Should Know

1. The marine vessel size is the overall length including tilted outboards, bowsprits, and swim platforms, as stated on the marine vessel Registration Certificate.
2. You must book the jetty at least 24 hours before arrival.
3. The service doesn't include water or electricity.
4. Fees are determined according to the vessel size.
5. You must pay all fees before the start of the Berthing Agreement.
6. Payment isn't refundable.
7. All rates and fees are subject to change at the discretion of RTA.

Companies that own marine vessels compatible with the jetty

1. Marine vessel Registration Card (front and back)
2. Skipper Driving Licence (front and back)

• Only authorised vessels as per the permit can use the jetty.
• The crew must be present on behalf of the vessel owner to protect its property.
• RTA isn't responsible for any accident, incident, or personal injury on board of the vessel during its berth on RTA jetty.
• RTA Marine isn't responsible for any damages such as vessel sinking, fire, natural disasters, fatal accidents, or any unsafe work located on the vessel or near RTA property.
• You're responsible for any RTA property damage caused by your vessel.
• You must immediately report any damage via rent.jetty@rta.ae.
• Vessels aren't allowed to stay more than the duration approved in the permit.
• The jetty rental is only for short term berth without overnight stay, and for half an hour, one hour, or one day from 6am to 11pm, all weekdays.
• Maintenance, fueling, salvage etc. can't be carried out on RTA berth.
• You can't use your jetty for any commercial activities such as cargo handling, fueling, etc.
• Alcohol and smoking aren't allowed on RTA premises.
• Pets aren't allowed on RTA jetties or while embarking or disembarking.
• No garbage should be disposed of on the jetty.
• The jetty can be used only for embarking and disembarking. Passengers aren't allowed to wait or sit on the jetty.
• The crew and passengers of the berthed vessel must adhere to the instructions posted on the vessel and in the station.
• If you violate any of RTA rules and regulations, you'll be fined as per RTA guidelines and tariffs.
