You can, as a company, request a study to carry out traffic calming measures to control over-speeding on some roads, in compliance with RTA approved road safety manual, if you think that there's a problem affecting traffic safety in Dubai.

Channels

Steps

  1. Click RTA on WhatsApp in the Find Us section on the website.
  2. Take a photo and send it through the chat.
  3. Mahboub checks the content and asks if you want to report an issue.
  4. Select Yes to proceed.
  5. Mahboub analyses the image to identify any possible issues. If found, Mahboub details the issues and suggests corrective actions.
  6. Confirm the findings and the corrective actions to be taken.
  7. Mahboub asks you to share the location of the issue.
  8. Share the location pin through the chat.
  9. Mahboub submits a CRM ticket on your behalf and provides the reference number and a URL to track the status.
  10. Receive the approval/rejection within 15 working days:
    • If the request is approved, receive a notification. The calming measures are implemented according to RTA procedures.
    • If the suggested calming measures aren't compliant with the approved technical specifications, receive an SMS or an email with the rejection.

  3. Select the type of issue (complaints related to over-speeding).
  4. Receive approval or rejection within 15 working days.
  5. In case of approval, receive an approval notification. The traffic calming measures are implemented according to the procedures followed by RTA.
  6. If the suggested calming measures aren't compliant with the approved technical specifications, receive the rejection through SMS or email.

  1. You must bear the installation fees in certain cases if the calming measures don't contradict the technical specifications and if the concerned parties approve the measures that serve the road users.
