This permit allows you to reserve part of the Right-of-Way (ROW) to organise special events such as weddings or condolences, in compliance with the public safety laws and conditions.

Steps
- Access the ROW Permits System page.
- Click Apply Now and enter the information.
- If clarification is required, such as a change of location, receive a call from the Right-of-Way Services Department.
- If required, a site visit is conducted to assess the condition of the surrounding sandy areas and determine the most suitable location for the tent.
- Receive the approval through SMS and email.
- Receive the permit and approved drawings through email.
- In case of rejection, receive a notification by SMS, and the rejection letter and the reasons by email.

- Contact the Call Centre and submit your request.
- Send the documents to the RTA Staff by email to ccsupport@rta.ae .

- You must apply online at least 3 working days before the wedding.
You Should Do
- If you want to set up the tent in front of a neighbouring house, get the neighbour’s approval (you must remove the tent if your neighbour requests it).

- Affection Plan (for projects in areas not regulated by Dubai Municipality)
- Trade Licence of the organising company (Dubai only)
- Official Letter from the tent company

Terms and Conditions
- It's prohibited to set up a tent on the street or to block any main or secondary road.
- The tent must be set up in a sandy yard at the location designated in the permit.
- When setting up the tent in a sandy yard, you must maintain a distance of 3m from the Right-of-Way.
- You must clear a path for the Police, Ambulance, and Civil Defence vehicles, as well as for access to residences.
- You must comply with all safety requirements and standards.
- Only RTA has the right to place signs on the Right-of-Way.
- You must follow up with Dubai Municipality, the Civil Defence Department, DEWA, and Dubai Police to complete the remaining procedures.
- Setting up a tent in an unauthorised location constitutes a breach of the permit terms and results in legal action by RTA.
