Temporary closure of the Shandagha Tunnel
Temporary closure of the Shandagha Tunnel in the direction of Bur Dubai – Deira
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced that Shandagha Tunnel will be temporarily closed as of 12.00 am (midnight) on Friday 22 August 2014 up to 06:00 am Saturday 23 August 2014 in order to carry out maintenance on the asphalt payment of the Tunnel in a single direction only from Bur Dubai to Deira. Full closure of the tunnel is required, whereby duly Maintenance works takes place, in the direction from Bur Dubai to Deira and diverting traffic to the other direction.
