RTA offers citizens free directional signboards for condolences
The Roads and Transport Authority announced a new complimentary service to Emiratis offering them standardized and suitable signage to be used to show directions to locations where condolences are accepted in the Emirate. This community-oriented initiative from the RTA is intended to maintain the civilized appearance of the city, and the service will be available on demand where up to 10 signs can be provided per case.
The procedures of availing the service are smooth for customers who can contact RTA’s call center (at 8009090) any time during the day, and provide the required documentation and information for identifying the location. The signs will be installed within just six hours from the time of submitting the application during the working hours, or within 12 hours if the application was submitted after the working hours.
