Introducing Augmented Reality to “Wojhati” app in Gitex 2014
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has exhibited in Gitex Technology Week 2014 in Dubai a new update of the Journey Planner “Wojhati” App. that would Augment reality technology at the “Android” platforms.
This new feature focuses on creating an interactive environment that emulates the reality and integrates it with the App. such that the user can figure out the stops and routes of public buses as well as the metro journeys in a live and real-time mode, besides automatically obtaining information relating to timetables and distances from different user locations by simply pointing the camera of the smart phone to any direction from any position.
