The Customer Council of RTA held a discussion session with residents and frequent visitors of the Al Quoz area to familiarise them with RTA’s plans for traffic and infrastructure development, as well as the expected improvements and related impacts.

As part of its ongoing commitment to training quality and learner safety, the Licensing Agency at RTA carried out a series of comprehensive inspection campaigns across driver training facilities in the emirate.

As part of its ongoing commitment to enhancing road safety standards and fulfilling its vision as the Global Leader in Seamless and Sustainable Mobility, RTA launched a comprehensive inspection campaign titled "Trailer Safety" in Q1 2025.

H.E. Mattar Al Tayer, Director General, Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors at the RTA, and H.E. Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announces the full operational readiness of air-conditioned bus shelters across the emirate in preparation for the summer season. A total of 893 shelters have been installed across 622 locations. The inspection and maintenance campaign began in March and will continue through the second quarter of 2025.

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has activated the Vehicle Inspection Appointment Booking service on the ‘RTA Dubai’ app and the website www.rta.ae. Effective 2nd June 2025, the booking will be mandatory for all vehicle inspections at technical testing centres across the emirate. For customers who prefer to visit without a prior appointment, an optional walk-in service will be available at 19 centres, subject to an additional service fee of AED 100.
