To Whom It May Concern Certificate/Replacing A Lost Export Certificate

This service enables you to apply for a "to whom it may concern" certificate indicating that an export certificate is issued for the vehicle. The export certificate states the vehicle's details, the name of the recipient and the date of issuance. There is no need to inspect the vehicle if it is outside the country and to check the expiry date of the export plates.

Eligibility

Individual customers, citizens and residents, and companies are eligible to apply for this service.

Required documents

For individuals:

  1. Original Emirates ID to update the information in case of an expired ID
  2. Certificate of the vehicle's data

For companies:

  1. Official letter in Arabic from the company requesting the replacement of a lost or damaged vehicle export certificate + copy of the trade license + Letter of Credit Authorization Form (LCAF)
  2. Certificate of the vehicle's data

Output

To whom it may concern certificate/replacing a lost export certificate.

Service fees

  • 50 AED
  • +10 AED knowledge fee
  • +10 AED innovation fee.

Validity

Permanent.

Average processing time

  • Service centres and service providers: 10 minutes.

Ways to apply

Process

Through service centres:

  • The customer presents the required documents at the service centre
  • The customer is required to settle the fees to get the receipt
  • The customer receives the certificate from the centre.

Terms and conditions

  • The customer or the legal representative must be present in person
  • The customer is required to settle all the traffic fines before receiving this service.
