Applying For A Non-Registered Vehicle Certificate

This service enables you to apply for a "to whom it may concern" certificate stating that the vehicle is not registered at the traffic system.

Eligibility

Individual customers, citizens and residents, and companies are eligible to apply for this service.

Required documents

For individuals:

  1. Original Emirates ID
  2. Copy of the bill of entry or technical inspection certificate

For companies:

  1. Bill of entry certificate stating the data of the vehicle including chassis number, year of manufacturing and type of vehicle or the technical inspection certificate
  2. Official letter in Arabic from the company + copy of the trade license

Output

Vehicle non-ownership certificate.

Service fees

70 AED.

Validity

Permanent.

Average processing time

Service centres and service providers: 5 minutes.

Ways to apply

Process

Through service centres:

  • The customer submits the required documents at the service centre
  • The customer is required to settle the fees in person
  • The customer receives the certificate in person.

Terms and conditions

  • The customer or the legal representative must be present in person
  • The customer is required to settle all the traffic fines before receiving this service.
