Renewing A Safari Driving Permit

This service enables you to apply for the renewal of a safari driving permit.

Eligibility

Individual customers, citizens and residents, are eligible to apply for this service.

Required documents

For citizens:

  1. Original Emirates ID+ copy
  2. No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the tourism company
  3. Eye test certificate
  4. Good Criminal record Certificate

For residents:

  1. Copy of the valid passport
  2. Valid residence visa
  3. Original Emirates ID + copy
  4. Eye test certificate
  5. Tourist guide certificate
  6. Criminal record Certificate
  7. NOC from the tourism company where the customer works

Output

Renewed safari driving permit.

Service fees

  • 300 AED
  • +20 AED knowledge and innovation fees.

Validity

1 year.

Average processing time

  • Driving institutes: up to 10 minutes.

Process

Through driving institutes:

  • The customer submits the required documents at the institute
  • The customer receives the renewed safari driving permit.

Terms and conditions

  • The customer must have a valid residence visa
  • The customer must be sponsored by a tourism company.
