Winning a GCC Award for Enhancing the Quality of Life and Welfare of Bus Drivers
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has won the GCC GOV HR Government Award 2025 in the category of Best Strategy for Employee Welfare and Benefits in the Public, Private and Government Sectors. The award reinforces RTA’s distinguished standing as a leading entity in advancing best practices in human-resources management.
RTA received the award in recognition of its efforts and leadership in enhancing the quality of life, welfare, happiness and satisfaction of bus drivers through a set of targeted strategic initiatives that have elevated their well-being and strengthened operational efficiency.
This milestone achievement was celebrated during the GCC GOV HR Award 2025 ceremony, held at Grand Hyatt Hotel in Abu Dhabi.
The winning initiative further bolstered RTA’s efforts and commitment to applying best practices in human-resource management. It also highlighted RTA’s distinguished organisational performance and its leading role across the Emirate in promoting the happiness and welfare of public-bus drivers.
