Auctions off 300 premium plates of 2, 3, 4 and 5 digits
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is offering 300 catchy number plates of 2, 3, 4 and 5 digits at the forthcoming 61st Online Auction, the third this year. Plates on offer bear (A, B, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T and U) codes and include plates for classic vehicles and motorbikes.
Registration of bidders starts on Sunday, 20th Sept, and the bidding process kicks off at 08:00 am on Sunday, 27th Sept, and continue for only five days.
Through offering distinctive licensing plates at open or online auctions, RTA is keen on upholding neutrality and transparency as part of a strategy to offer fair opportunities to bidders for distinctive number plates. Such plates bear symbolic reference to important events for clients and serve the needs of a wide range of customers. RTA tends to hold auctions according to the market needs with the aim of maximising customers satisfaction and happiness. Auctions are marked by wide participation and positive rivalry of passionate bidders.
The selling of licensing plates in this auction is subject to a 5% VAT. Each bidder is required to have a Traffic File opened in Dubai, submit a security cheque amounting to AED5,000 made to RTA, and pay an un-refundable participation fee of AED120. Payment can be made at Customer Happiness Centres at Umm Al Ramool, Al Barsha or Deira, or by credit card via (www.rta.ae) or Dubai Drive app.
