Project Description

• Constructing 16.5 km of internal roads in Al Awir 1.
• It includes intersections and roundabouts as well as adding a lane to Emirates Road, extending from the entrance of Al Awir 1 to Sharjah.
• It includes developing a new entrance and exit in Al Awir 1.

Project Benefits

• Boosts the capacity of the Emirates Roads by 16%.
• Provides an additional entrance from Emirates Road.
• The new entrance and exit will double the capacity of the area’s access points, increasing from 1,500 vehicles per hour to 3,000 vehicles per hour.
• Improves traffic flow and enhances road safety in Al Awir 1.
