Project Description
- The doubling of lanes from three to six in both directions
- Construction of 17km-long service roads on both sides, from Bukadra Interchange up to Emirates Road
- Six free intersections with bridges to serve traffic moving in all directions

- Reduces travel time from 16 minutes to 8 minutes over 17km
- Increases traffic safety at existing intersections
- Increases road capacity from 6,000 vehicles per hour to 12,000 per hour
