Project Description

• The introduction of a 170m bridge at the intersection of Nad Al Sheba and Dubai- Al Ain Road, comprising 2 lanes in each direction.
• Part of Dubai-Al-Ain road development project, and 1 of 6 major intersections on Dubai-Al Ain Road.
• Spanning 17km, the number of lanes have been extended from 3 to 6.

Project Benefits

• The Dubai - Al Ain Road development project serves 5 million people.
• Doubles road capacity from 6,000 to 12,000 vehicles per hour following the completion of all project phases.
• Reduces travel time on the intersection from 104 seconds to 13 seconds.
• Reduces travel time from Bu Kadra intersection to Emirates Road junction from 16 minutes to 8 minutes in peak hours.
