Terms & Conditions

• Registration will start on 22^nd May 2023. The auction will start on Monday, 29^th May 2023 at 8:00 am for 5 days. You can register via RTA website www.rta.ae, “RTA Dubai Drive” Smart App or by visiting the Customer Happiness Centres.
• All online auction participants should have an account on www.rta.ae. A new user link can be used to get a username and password.
• New user must have:
  • A vehicle registered in Dubai or a driving license issued in Dubai
• The deposit for the auction is AED 5,000:
  • Deposit cheque: AED 5,000 + AED 120 deposit as a participation fee can be paid at customer happiness centres (Umm Ramool, Al Barsha and Deira)
  • Credit card: AED 5,000 + AED 120 deposit as a participation fee in the Auction (website)
• The successful bidder should pay the bid amount within 10 days after the auction has closed through:
  • Service provider centers (cash or credit card)
  • RTA customer happiness centres (cash up to AED 50,000, Manager’s Cheque or credit card for above AED 50,000)
  • Website (credit card) Otherwise the participant will be on the “uncommitted" list
• Categories: Private (A-G-H-I-J-K-L-M-N-O-P-Q-R-S-T-U-V),
  Classic and Motorcycle 2.
• Number of plates: 350 (3 digits, 4 digits and 5 digits).
• 5% VAT will be applied on sold number plates.
