Internal Roads in Al Awir 1
Project Description
- Constructing 16.5 km of internal roads in Al Awir 1.
- It includes intersections and roundabouts as well as adding a lane to Emirates Road, extending from the entrance of Al Awir 1 to Sharjah.
- It includes developing a new entrance and exit in Al Awir 1.
Project Benefits
- Boosts the capacity of the Emirates Roads by 16%.
- Provides an additional entrance from Emirates Road.
- The new entrance and exit will double the capacity of the area’s access points, increasing from 1,500 vehicles per hour to 3,000 vehicles per hour.
- Improves traffic flow and enhances road safety in Al Awir 1.
