1. The customer logs in using his username and password.
2. The customer selects New Permits from the left-side menu.
3. The customer clicks Permit Type and selects the application type as per the required permit and scope of work.
4. The customer selects the sub-type of the application.
5. The customer enters the duration and a clear description of the work as per the scope of work.
6. The customer fills in his information.
7. The customer marks the proposed work location on the map.
8. The customer enters the contractor's contact information for technical discussion, if required.
9. The customer enters the project information.
10. The customer uploads the required documents.
11. The customer clicks Submit to generate the application number.
12. The customer receives the approval on the application after its successful review by the RTA engineer in coordination with the relevant internal departments.
13. The customer settles the required fees and downloads the permit and approved drawings from the application page.
14. To renew the permit, the customer clicks Renew in the dashboard then enters the duration and the description of the work and pays the new permit issuance fee.

Permit for a Temporary Fence for Construction Sites.

• This permit is for blank fences only with no advertisement. In case of adding an advertising content, the customer must submit a separate application to the RTA Advertisement and Investment Services section.
• Contractors and consultants can apply through RTA website for permits related to all types of plots except those under Dubai Municipality authority, for which they apply through Dubai Building Permit System.
• If the customer does not pay the fees within the stated period, the permit is automatically cancelled.
