Obtain authorisation from RTA to approve a vehicle type to operate in the field of transporting passengers, and comply with the conditions and standards set by RTA to guarantee service quality and passenger safety.

Channels

Steps

  1. Log in to your company account using the Traffic File number and the Trade Licence issuance date.
  2. Enter the OTP and agree to the terms and conditions before proceeding.
  3. Enter the Trade Licence details and click Continue .
  4. Fill in the application (contract type and vehicle details).
  5. Attach the required documents then click Confirm and proceed.
  6. Receive the approval or rejection within 5 working days.
  7. In case of rejection, receive the reasons through email and website.
  8. In case of approval, receive the vehicle inspection appointment date, location, and time through email.
  9. Bring your vehicle to be inspected by the technical committee.
  10. Receive the vehicle type Adoption Letter through email and website after the committee approval.

Important to Know

You Should Do

  1. Make sure your vehicle is manufactured in the year of operation or the year before, and it isn't used.
  2. Equip your vehicle with the technical system approved by RTA.
  3. Make sure the information you include in the submitted documents match that of the vehicle to be inspected.

  4. UAE Specifications and Standards Certificate of the vehicle

  6. A Letter requesting the vehicle inspection addressed to the Planning and Business Development Department
