All owners of vehicles registered or has a Possession Certificate, who have a traffic file in Dubai are eligible to apply for this service.

  • +20 AED Knowledge and Innovation fees.

  1. The customer logs in using his username and password or through UAE Pass.
  2. The customer selects the vehicle, then Apply for a Technical Vehicle Status Report from Vehicle Licensing Services.
  3. The customer settles the fees by credit card.
  4. The customer receives the report through email within one working day. He can also download it from Certificates in his dashboard.

  • Question 1: Does the report provide additional information about imported vehicles?

Answer 1: Yes, the report provides data pertaining to vehicles imported from Japan, Europe, and the United States of America for an additional fee.

  • Question 2: Can the Vehicle Status Report be used for Licensing Services?

Answer 2: No, because the report isn't a requirement for any service and is only used to check the historical data of the vehicle.

  • Question 3: Can the customer apply for the service through Inspection and Customer Happiness Centres?

Answer 3: No, the customer can only apply through RTA website.

  • Question 4: How can the customer get the report if it is lost or damaged?

Answer 4: The customer can log in to RTA website and get the recently requested report from the dashboard.

  • Question 5: Is it possible to issue a certificate for several vehicles in the same application?

Answer 5: No, a separate application must be submitted for each vehicle.
