Apply for Providing a Temporary Road

This service enables you to apply for providing a temporary access road for land plots within the Right of Way in areas where the asphalt roads aren't available.

Eligibility
Individual customers and companies in Dubai are eligible to apply for this service.
Required documents

For individuals

  1. Copy of the Emirates ID
  2. Copy of the affection plan
  3. Certificate of villa building completion inside the farm (if the road was servicing a facility categorised as farm by Dubai Municipality).

For companies

  1. Trade licence
  2. Copy of the affection plan.
Service fees
  • This service is free for citizens occupants of residential villas
  • For the rest of land types (commercial, industrial, agricultural, ranches, etc.): the fees are determined based on the field inspection after submitting the application and paid by the applicant.

Process

Through Mahboub Chatbot (customers with RTA account using UAE Pass authentication)

  1. The customer types Provide a Temporary Road in the chat box.
  2. The customer clicks on Mahboub Information Panel to access the service and check the service terms and conditions.
  3. The customer clicks Apply Now.
  4. The customer authenticates the application through UAE Pass and fills in the required information.
  5. The customer specifies if he wants to receive the affection plan from Dubai Municipality using his parcel ID/plot number.
  6. The customer enters his parcel ID/plot number and confirms the land details.
  7. The request is automatically submitted.
  8. The customer saves the confirmation message displayed on the screen once the application is successfully submitted.
  9. The customer receives the application details through email.
  10. The customer pays the fees online through the system, if applicable.
  11. The temporary road works are completed within 40 working days from the application submission date, depending on the availability of building permit and levelling of the area.

Through Mahboub Chatbot (customers with no RTA account without using UAE Pass authentication)

  1. The customer types Provide a Temporary Road in the chat box.
  2. The customer clicks on Mahboub Information Panel to access the service and check the service terms and conditions.
  3. The customer fills in the required information, uploads the required documents, and clicks Send.
  4. The customer saves the confirmation message displayed on the screen once the application is successfully submitted.
  5. The customer receives the application details through email.
  6. The customer pays the fees online through the system, if applicable.
  7. The temporary road works are completed within 40 working days from the application submission date, depending on the availability of building permit and levelling of the area.

Through Dubai Now

  1. The customer logs in using his UAE Pass.
  2. The customer selects the service from the dashboard.
  3. The personal details of the customer are automatically filled in. If the customer is applying for someone else, he must provide the required details (name of the plot owner, valid Emirates ID, valid email, mobile number, and parcel number).
  4. The customer selects the property type and uploads the necessary documents, if required.
  5. The customer submits the application and settles the fees online through the system, if applicable.
  6. The temporary road works are completed within 40 working days from the application submission date, depending on the availability of the building permit and leveling of the area.

  • RTA must check the application and approve it before providing the service.
  • The implementation of a temporary access road must be according to the adopted specifications and standards and within the Right of Way.

  • Question 1: What's an NOC?

Answer 1: The NOC is a certificate submitted by the contractor to the concerned service authorities to get their approval.

  • Question 2: Can the customer follow up on his application through Mahboub?

Answer 2: Yes, the customer can follow up through Mahboub using the application reference number.

  • Question 3: Can the customer change the contact details?

Answer 3: The contact details are linked to the UAE Pass. However, if the customer wants to change them, he can click on the edit option.

  • Question 4: Will the department contact the customer if any documents are missing?

Answer 4: In case of missing documents, the department contacts the customer within 5 working days.
