1. The customer logs in using his username and password.
2. The customer clicks Apply for a New Permit, then selects the application type as per the required permit and scope of work.
3. The customer enters the required information and uploads the documents.
4. The customer clicks Submit to generate the application number.
5. The customer receives the approval on the application after its successful review by RTA Engineer in coordination with the relevant internal departments.
6. The customer settles the required fees and downloads the permit and approved drawings from the application page.
7. To renew, the customer clicks on Renew in the dashboard then enters the duration and the description of the work and pays the new permit issuance fee.

The validity varies according to the condition and the type of works.

• The terms and conditions of the permit are provided after receiving the approval on the application.
• The customer must submit a refundable deposit if the work does not require a no-objection certificate, because the fees will be collected after the final approval of the permit.
• If the customer does not pay the fees within the stated period, the application is automatically cancelled.
• Each company can get 1 copy only of the Work Zone Traffic Management Manual from the Customer Happiness Centre - Umm Ramool for 2,020 AED (2,000 AED manual fee + 20 AED Knowledge and Innovation fee). The receipt must be submitted with the application.
