Answer 1: RTA Salik ( gates are located in:

  • Al Maktoum Bridge
  • Al Garhoud Bridge
  • Al Barsha Toll Gate
  • Al Safa Toll Gate
  • Al Mamzar Toll Gate
  • Airport Tunnel toll Gate.

Answer 2: Yes, it becomes free of charge. This decision was taken by RTA to facilitate the traffic flow.

  • Question 3: Do I pay any fees if I cross 3 gates during a single trip (Al Garhoud, Al Safa and Al Barsha)? In this case, how many times do I have to settle the fees?

Answer 3: The customer is required to pay the fees upon crossing each gate.

The new Salik ( gate on Ittihad road and Al Mamzar gate are actually two gates on each side of the road and are very close to each other. The customer is required to settle the fees upon passing through each gate.
