Topping Up Personal NOL Card

This service enables you to top up the balance of the personal silver/gold/special design card.

Eligibility

Customers who have personal silver/gold/special design card are eligible to apply for this service.

Required documents

  1. Personal NOL (http://www.nol.ae/) card

Output

Topping up the balance of the personal silver/gold/special design NOL (http://www.nol.ae/) card.

Service fees

  • Free of charge if the customer is topping up the balance through the website or the mobile application or the service centres or the ticket offices
  • 1 AED if the customer is topping up the balance through kiosks or authorised sales agents.

Ways to apply

Process

Through website or mobile application:

  • The customer enters the personal details and the details of the card
  • The customer is required to settle the top-up fees by credit card or debit card
  • The customer waits 48 hours
  • The customer uses the card at any entrance gate at the metro station or can insert the card at any parking machine for a few seconds and then removes it.

Through centres, kiosks and banks:

  • The customer presents the card
  • The customer is required to settle the top-up fees and the service fees (if any) by credit card or in cash
  • The balance will be topped up instantly.

Terms and conditions

  • The maximum amount that could be used to top up the card balance is 5,000 AED
  • The minimum amount that the card should have for the customer to start a journey is 7.5 AED
  • Topping up the NOL (http://www.nol.ae/) card is instant if the customer is using the "smart fare" option through the mobile application.
