Applying For A Road Test Appeal

This service enables you to challenge the results of the light vehicle driving test.

Eligibility

Trainees who did not pass the light vehicle driving test are eligible to apply for this service.

Required documents

  1. Traffic file number
  2. Final road test assessment paper
  3. Road test appeal form

Output

Appointment for the road test appeal.

Service fees

  • 200 AED appointment fee
  • +20 AED knowledge and innovation fees
  • 300 AED- appeal fee
  • 20 AED for booking an e-appointment.

Validity

Valid until the day of the test.

Average processing time

2 working days.

Ways to apply

Process

  • The customer objects to the Roads and Transport (RTA) supervisor about the result of the test
  • The customer is required to settle the requested fees
  • RTA sets a new date for the test.

Terms and conditions

  • The customer must apply for this service within 2 days after failing the light vehicle driving test.
  • The customer must fill in the form at the centre after reading the conditions.
