Applying For A Permit To Replace A Luxury Vehicle

This service enables you to replace a vehicle due to accident, or if it has exceeded the agreed usage time or if it was removed from the company's traffic file, and register a new one.

Eligibility

Licensed company by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) to transport passengers by luxury vehicles and having a valid operating contract.

Required documents

  1. Copy of the ownership certificate, on a condition that it is not older than 90 months from the date of requesting the replacement
  2. Data of the old vehicle and the new replacement vehicle (Vehicle Clearance Certificate (VCC) stating the vehicle type, the manufacturing year and the chassis number)

Output

Permit to replace a luxury vehicle.

Ways to apply

Process

Online:

  • The company submits the scanned required documents via email to the following address: Franchise.Services@rta.ae
  • If the file is incomplete, RTA sends an email to the company.
  • If the file is complete, RTA issues a permit to register the vehicle.

Terms and conditions

  • The company should complete the process of registering the vehicle at any service centre accredited by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) or at the Testing and Registration Centres accredited by RTA
  • The company must complete the process of the vehicle registration via the traffic system
  • The company must submit all the required documents in order to complete the process of the vehicle registration according to the requirements of the channel.
