Companies that transport passengers in luxury vehicles, that have a signed contract and have completed the registration of their contracted number of vehicles are eligible to apply for this service.

  1. The customer logs in to the company account on RTA Website.
  2. The customer selects Company Dashboard / My Contract.
  3. The customer selects the service to add vehicles to the contract.
  4. The customer attaches a certified official letter.
  5. The application is studied and the decision communicated to the company.
  6. The company follows up with the Contracts and Purchasing Department to adjust the value of the bank/cash guarantees according to the number of vehicles to be added.
  7. The company refers to the Finance Department to submit the post-dated cheques for the monthly operation fees related to the vehicles that are to be added for the remaining period of the contract.
  8. The company finalizes and signs an annex to the contract.
  9. The system activates the permit immediately after verifying the post-dated cheques and bank/cash guarantees.
  10. The company submits the required documents to Register Luxury Vehicles according to the requirements of the Vehicle Licensing Department in the Customer Happiness Centres or the Service Providers or the available service channels.
  11. The contract process, the trade licence, the availability of post-dated cheques, and bank/cash guarantees are automatically audited during the vehicle registration transaction.

  • The approval of the application: valid from the date of permit activation until the registration of the last vehicle on the permit.
  • The addition permit: from the date of its electronic approval, according to the submission of the post-dated cheques and bank/cash guarantees.

Terms and conditions
  • The company must complete the registration of the contracted number of vehicles to be able to amend the contract by adding vehicles.
  • The company cannot apply for the addition of vehicles to the contract if post-dated cheques and bank/cash guarantees were not settled before requesting the amendment of the contract.
  • Vehicle registration starts from the date of the approval of the electronic permit in the system.
  • The company starts paying the monthly operating fees starting one month after the registration of the added vehicles.
  • It is not possible to complete the vehicle registration transaction if the required number of bank/cash guarantees and post-dated cheques related to the monthly operating fees is not submitted.
  • If the company didn't start processing the addition permit requirements within the given 30 day period, they have to apply for a new permit according to the application submission cycle.
  • The company is allowed to apply for adding vehicles 4 times during the contractual year, without specifying a period of time between requests, according to the service process.
  • The company can register used vehicles provided that they apply for a Permit to Register a Used Vehicle to Transport Passengers in Luxury Vehicles through the company's account on RTA website /company Dashboard / My Contract.
  • The year of manufacturing the vehicle must be either the current one or the one before in case of a new vehicle or a vehicle used in non-luxury vehicle activity.
  • The extended vehicles can be transferred among the sector’s companies without being subject to the inspection of technical committees and without applying the condition of the vehicle's year of manufacture (the current or previous year). The average life expectancy of the transferred vehicle is calculated based on its year of manufacture and its specifications (for companies listed with an extended vehicles contract only).
  • The company cannot register administrative vehicles.
  • The vehicles must be on the approved list of vehicles for this activity, available on the company's dashboard.
  • The company must have a valid trade licence.
