The circulation of heavy vehicles at any time and on roads not intended for this purpose constitutes a traffic violation. Therefore, if you need to drive these vehicles, you must apply for a Mobility Permit from the Right-of-Way (ROW) Department.

Steps

  1. Log in using your username and password.
  2. Select New Permits from the left-side menu.
  3. Click Permit Type .
  4. Select the application type as per the required permit and scope of work.
  5. Upload the documents.
  6. Click Submit to generate the application number.
  7. Receive the approval on the application.
  8. Pay the fees.
  9. Download the permit from the application page.
  10. If you want to renew the permit, click Renew in the dashboard then enter the duration and the work description and pay the new permit issuance fees.
  11. In case of rejection, receive a notification by SMS, and the rejection letter and the reasons by email.

You Should Know

  1. This permit allows heavy vehicles to circulate in limited cases on banned routes (some main roads), in banned times (morning and evening peak times), and in banned areas (City Centre).
  2. The application will be automatically cancelled if you don't respond to the discussion initiated by the processor or if you don't pay all required fees before the permit expiry date specified in the application details page, or within 15 days, whichever comes first.
