Apply for a Permit for Right of Way Services for the Public (Footpath Modification and Hatching and Painting Roads)
This permit allows you to lower the level of the footpath in front of your residential villa, or to conduct hatching works (no parking zone) on the road shoulder or parking spaces that affect the access to the villa, in accordance with public safety laws and conditions.

Steps
- Click on Apply Now and fill in the required information.
- Mark the proposed work location on the map.
- Enter the contractor's contact information for technical discussion, if required.
- Enter the project information.
- Upload the documents.
- Click Submit to generate the application number.
- Receive the application approval within 3 to 7 days through SMS and email.
- Receive the permit by email.
- In case of rejection, receive a notification by SMS, and the rejection letter and the reasons by email.
Service Time
- 2 weeks after approval of the NOCs from the relevant authorities for footpath modification
- 3 weeks to implement hatching and painting

- An Affection Plan from Dubai Municipality (DM), if the existing plan is outdated and no updated version is available.

- Only People of Determination and Senior Emiratis can apply for the service through call centres.

Terms and Conditions
- Works related to lowering the footpath and hatching are conducted by the Roads and Facilities Maintenance Department.
