Obtain, renew or cancel a permit to instal supplementary directional signs to guide road users to cultural, touristic, commercial, and services sites, and other landmarks in Dubai.

Steps
- Log in to the ROW Permit System (ROWPS) dashboard using your username and password.
- Click Apply for a New Permit .
- Click Supplementary Sign Installation Permit .
- Enter the details (information about the applicant, owner, and supplementary sign details).
- The Trade Licence details are retrieved automatically from the Department of Economy and Tourism.
- Upload the documents and mark the desired location.
- Verify the details and click Submit for approval request.
- Receive the reference number.
- Check the status of submitted applications through the dashboard to resolve any comments or submit additional information.
- If the application is rejected, receive the reasons through email and a notification through the website to reapply if you desire.
- If the application is approved, receive a notification through email and SMS and pay the fees via Dubai Pay or the Customer Happiness Centre (manager's cheque).
- You'll be directed to the Maintenance Department to pay the cost of installation.
- RTA instals the signs and closes the application in the system.
- The permit is issued through the system once the signs are executed and you're notified.
- To renew the permit, log in to ROWPS, click the permit reference number, and complete the request.

Important to Know
You Should Know
- If the signs are approved and the monthly or annual fees are paid, these signs will be executed by one of the approved contractors or through the Roads and Facilities Maintenance Department contractor - RTA.
- You must renew the permit 1 month prior to its expiry date.
- If you don't renew the permit, you'll be fined and you must remove the signs at your expense.
- Permit fees of less than AED 50,000 can be paid by credit card. Fees above AED 50,000 must be paid using other online payment methods, such bank transfer.
