Apply for an NOC for Trial Trenches

Obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for Trial Trenches within the Right-of-Way. This NOC is an official document proving that there are no objections to a specific design or infrastructure project within the Right-of-Way.

Output

NOC for Trial Trenches and the approved drawings, valid for 6 months from the issuance date of the final NOC

Steps

  1. Log in to the eNOC system using your username and password, or UAE Pass.
  2. Select NOC for the Trial Trenches .
  3. Fill in the information.
  4. Upload the supporting documents.
  5. Check the status of the application.
  6. Check the remarks of the service authorities (if any) and act accordingly.
  7. If approved, receive a system prompt notification and an email within 3 working days with a direct link to the NOC.
  8. If rejected, receive a notification and an email within 3 working days with the rejection reasons and a direct link to reapply for the service, if desired.

Important to Know

You Should Know

  1. You can check the status of the application and the remarks of the service authorities through the eNOC system.
  2. You must fulfil all the requirements of the service authorities and get their approvals within 2 months of the submission of the application to avoid its cancellation.
  3. You'll receive a notification by email with the eNOC dashboard link to apply for renewal through the eNOC system, 6 weeks before the NOC expiry.

  1. Provide the supporting documents according to the list available on the eNOC  website when submitting the application through the system.

  1. Approved NOC for the design of the proposed work (if required)
  2. General Layout Plan indicating the project boundaries with coordinates, ROW limits, scope of work, and locations of trial trenches with Dubai Local Transverse Mercator (DLTM) coordinates
  3. Drawings of ROW utility distribution on cross sections for all affected roads showing the typical, existing, and proposed cross sections with a layout showing the cross sections markers and the limits of each cross section covering area

Note: The drawings should be submitted in a PDF or CAD format.
